BREAKFAST IN BED

With fall officially upon us, we at Bon Lemon are ready to bring pumpkin back into our lives—as much pumpkin as possible, if we’re being honest. The onset of cooler weather also leaves us craving a few more minutes in bed in the morning, cozy in our warm beds before preparing for the day ahead.

So why not combine two of the most wonderful parts of fall, pumpkin and the snooze button, and make fall magic this autumnal equinox?

 

 

We’ve got a stellar pumpkin oatmeal recipe that is sure to quickly become a fave. Just don’t tell your boss that Bon Lemon gave you the “okay” to be late to work every day this fall.

Ingredients:

1 cup plain oatmeal

Boiling water (to taste)

¼ cup pumpkin puree (buy one can and save the extra puree for next time)

¼ teaspoon cinnamon

¼ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

2 Tablespoons brown sugar

What to do:

1.      Boil water

2.      Pour boiling water over oatmeal and add pumpkin puree, stirring to mix

3.      Add the spice to taste

4.      Grab a spoon and enjoy the ultimate fall breakfast in bed!
